31 Lowe’s and RONA locations to be closed across Canada

If you buy supplies at your local RONA or Lowe’s outlet, you might want to check if it’s still going to be in business beyond the end of January 2019.

Lowe’s Canada – which since May 2016 has owned RONA’s corporate stores across Canada – announced today that it will shutter 31 Lowe’s and RONA locations (27 stores, 2 store support centres, 1 truss plant and 1 block plant).

The store closings are in the following provinces: Ontario (9), Quebec (9), Newfoundland & Labrador (6), Alberta (2), British Columbia (1). There is a list of closing stores at the tail end of this story in the National Post.
